It is with profound sadness that The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups marks the passing of our beloved former Patron, The Honourable Tung Chee-hwa, Hong Kong’s first Chief Executive.
With his unwavering belief in young people, Mr Tung showed steadfast support for our programmes that helped shape opportunities for countless youth. Together with Mrs Betty Tung, they embodied a sincere and abiding care for the younger generation.
The Federation and The Dragon Foundation honour a life of public service and extend our deepest condolences to Mrs Tung and all members of the Tung family at this sorrowful time.

董先生一直深信青年乃社會未來棟樑，在擔任全國政協副主席及行政長官期間，多次支持本會各項青年發展項目，為無數新生代開闢前路、廣拓機遇。董先生與董趙洪娉夫人伉儷情深，對青年一代關懷備至、其摯誠愛護之情，永誌人心。
董先生畢生奉獻國家及社會。本會及龍傳基金謹致以最崇高之敬意與深切哀悼，並向董夫人及家人表示誠摯慰問。
