More than 35 per cent of the youngsters polled in this survey think that the promotion of sports and recreational activities by the government is insufficient. Some respondents hope that the government will increase the number of facilities and venues. The vast majority of the young respondents take part in various kinds of sports and recreational activities. Most of them participate in ball games, swimming and riding bicycle. On average, male respondents spend more than 5 hours a week, while female respondents take less than 2 hours in sports and recreational activities.
