The Federation's Youth Employment Network (YEN) was set up in October 2002. It aims to:

Establish close connections with private corporations, youth groups, government departments and international organizations so as to provide employment opportunities, job trainings and updated job market information to young people |

Arouse the public's greater interest and concern over youth employment issues and provide comprehensive youth employment services to improve their employability |

Introduce the 'Life banking' concept to young people; help them properly plan their future career paths; and provide adequate and relevant guidance and support relating to youth employment, self-employment and business start-ups |

Help young people who have business start-up intention to set up commercial enterprises through providing expert mentorships and appropriate seed funds to them in our newly launched "Youth Business Hong Kong" (YBHK) Programme in 2005 |
